La Cité, a tool of attractiveness and development for the local area



A public corporation: La Cité has strengthened its ties with the local area by changing status and becoming a Local Public Company in November 2011.
A successful company: La Cité has strengthened its international business, developing its partnership strategy and continues to nourish an ambitious innovation programme.
A responsible company: La Cité continues and strengthens its commitment to CSR and sustainable development.
The change in status was accompanied by a collective rethink, in which our stakeholders (customers, shareholders, local authorities, suppliers, and staff) also took part. The results of this rethink have enabled La Cité teams to define new strategic directions for 2012 - 2015:
- Strengthen the CSR and excellence policy of La Cité.
- Innovate and invest to improve the service offerings.
- Strengthen international recognition.
- Target, Cooperate, Communicate with our stakeholders.
- Develop a cultural strategy at the service of the local area.

These guiding principles, which are accompanied by a requirement for « sustainable » performance and transparency, contribute to the attractiveness and prestige of the metropolis.
They reflect the mobilisation of the multitude of skills that the company has acquired over almost 20 years.
In 20 years over, 9 000 events took place here.
The festivities and events will be organized for all the inhabitants of Nantes. They will also be an opportunity to share together the history of La Cité and our bright future prospects.
